Mrs. Anne Kootz: English—Literature & Composition 9-10 ¨ 14 year veteran of home schooling her four sons. ¨ Younger sons Brett, 17, and Peter, 12, will be attending SJBA part-time in 2009—2010 school year. ¨ Built the General and Honors Chemistry courses at Regina Coeli Online Academy, and has been the instructor for these courses for 2 years. This academic year she is also initiating an Advanced Chemistry course at RCA. Prior teaching experience also includes tutoring the children of another local family in Language Arts for the past 3 years. ¨ Studied Pre-Nursing, Chemical Engineering and Chemistry at the University of Colorado, graduating in 1979. She studied an additional year of Chemical Engineering courses at the Arizona State University in Tempe. ¨ Worked in the chemical industry, the transportation industry, and the American Red Cross prior to starting her family. ¨ Interests include literature and music, singing classical and sacred music. |
